"Paddle" For A Cause is back again and should be better than ever!
"Paddle" For A Cause is a fun-filled, surfing charity event to benefit the March of Dimes.
Sit down, stand up, kayak paddle, hand paddle! Surfers with all types of surf craft are welcome!
Location: 1st Street Jetty at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront
Date/Time: Saturday, October 15, 2005 8am
Event entry forms, individual and business sponsorship forms can be downloaded on the Ride For A Cause Main Page.
Entry fee: $15 (recommended entry fee is $20)
Additional divisions: $2 (recommended $5)
All divisions entry fee: $23.00 (recommended $35.00)
This year's paddle surfing heats will include the following divisions:
Surf Kayak - surf specific kayak of any length, finned/finless, poly/composite
Waveski - sit-on-top style, foam core, seat belt/foot strapped surf craft w/ fins
Whitewater - any poly/composite river kayak of any style
SOT - any plastic sit-on-top kayak, finned/finless
Paddle Surfers of all skill levels are welcome:

Just beginning as a paddle surfer? That's great! Come eager to learn from the VBSK crew. Leave with new moves and a big smile!
